Now...first off...let me say...I don't have any problem giving up any pu's that aren't necessary or are already in use on a weapon. I still don't fully understand the pu's...so sometimes, I'm not sure if I'm going to need them....or if I need to toss them.
I wasn't even aware that voice chat was enabled on the server...until a week or two ago, when ZombieSlayer told me to turn it on. So, in addition xfire and all the talk on team speak from my clan...I'm also trying to hear the voice chat and pay attention to text chat on the invasion server. A vast majority of the time, I don't even know who's talking. I have the VOIP image in UT turned on so that I can tell who's talking...but quite often...a pic and a name never pops out. So, I end up typing things like.."Who needed the inf pu"? or "Who needed a flak wop +10?" over and over...with no reply. Well, needless to say...I'm not going to continue to stand there idling and retyping that just waiting for someone to respond.
I try to pay attention to chat as best I can...but I don't see everything that is typed there. But just like everyone else...once I get a preferable weapon......then I toss my pu's when I can. If you want something specific....and I haven't responded to you in chat (cause if I see it...I WILL respond) then just come to me and shoot me...cause that always gets my attention. I certainly don't have a problem giving it to you if you need it. Sometimes, I don't even realize the amount of pu's I have and I still don't know what all of them are by sight..and so I have to scroll through them at a...not so fast pace. By the time I find what I need..and apply it...the wave has already started. I'm not like alot of players that can stand there for hours on end and not die...a couple hits...and I'm out.
Evil, You say it's a team game...yet most of the time at around waves 8,9 and 10, I still have virtually no pu's. It's usually due to people and their super speeds that run around swiping everything in site...trying to pick up summons, so that they can get a lil lady, or ssr mini. I've also noticed alot lately...that even if it's a monster that I killed...and I'm going to get the pu...someone uses their weapon that they've jacked up with the "knock back" pu....to shoot me..and force me away from the pu. Are those things that are considered to be "team game" actions?
Evil...you say.."You sure as hell don't help anyone here" and then call me a liar. Maybe you could review all the server chat logs...to verify those statements and I find them to be inaccurate. Why would I want to keep a weapon or pu that I'm not even going to use? Because many times...I offer weapons and pu's, but for the most part...no one says a word.
If I'm doing the weapons and pu's wrong...then I certainly have no problem in learning how to do it right. But, calling me a liar doesn't help. So, if people are willing to help me learn what I need to do...then I'm all for it. I will certainly review the "Server Rules" section. But, if anyone has any suggestions on what is appropriate...then feel free to let me know what that is.
I've offered you pu's/weapons and you seem to ignore me. So I think you'd enjoy the game more if you didn't yap with iX in game :p
