Well I was in Philly this weekend. I stayed over my boy Skkra's hose for a major tourney. His roomate has a nice comp and UT3 so I played it.

It's not bad. I mean it's nice eye candy but it just feels like the same old stuff we are used to. I didn't see any point to the hoverboards but I like those orbs for Warfare(ONS).

It's somewhat challenging since we lost the ability to jump after a front, back or side dodge and it affects aiming somewhat. But I kinda liked it so I'm most likely gonna cop both the PC and the PS3 versions. Epic favors PS3's heavingly. Good job.

I just wish I had a nice working comp. Ortega u gotta give me an accurate estimate or someone else. I gotta know what I gotta save!

Now that NIR has the BattleRPG Mod v6 up and running, omfg I am HOOKED! For the first time in a long time I didn't even bother logging into MonsterMadness last night. Admittedly I didn't get home until about 9:30, and when I did I had to download a couple of Linux install disks for a friend, during which time I played "The Witcher" (an AWESOME game, BTW) since my bandwidth was being sucked dry by the downloads. Once they finished downloading and I burned the disks - abt. 10:30 - I hopped onto the NIR server and was happy to see Venger already there. We played a few ONS maps, and before I knew it, it was 12:30! Ooftah! The whole time all I could think about was "One more level" since I am (now) only level 20, and there is such a small XP requirement to make it to the next level. OMFG it was soooo goood.

I'm to the point now where I can't wait until my next opportunity to get onto the NIR RPG server. Unfortunately I have to attend another dinner "out" tonight near Kent State University - about a 20-minute drive for me - at 8:00, which is going to seriously cut into my game time tonight, too. Hopefully I can get in and get out relatively quickly, but that might not be possible - a buddy of mine is the president of the local chapter of "The Fellowship of Christian Magicians" and wants me to attend the meeting. Of course he doesn't know I am a pagan high priest! LOL! But he DOES know I eat/breathe fire, which is why he wants to me at least come and meet the group. This is the same guy who needs the Linux disks, and also I need his brother to come and do some drywall finishing for me, and he's going to be there tonight too, so at least I am killing 3 birds with 1 stone, so to speak.

So yeah Venger and Rimc, I *WILL* be on the server tonight, though not until later (*MY* time zone (EST) later, not yours! LOL!) - keep your eyes peeled for me.

Same goes for everyone else! I should HOPEFULLY be on sometime shortly after 9-10PM, so keep your eyes peeled for me in your friends list. If I am not in your friends list, PM me and I will send you my UT3 name - there are some individuals around here that I would care they rather not know that information (edited my earlier post with that info, too).
