Sup, I have been searching for NIR server, but only find a locked Team NIR under CTF. I need a password to connect.
any ideas?

Thats New York serv and its locked for some reasons. You need to find Europe serv.

The reason it is passworded is because it is 10 dollars cheaper per month to run a passworded server. Dont ask me why I have no clue.

FYI, I am seeing more and more servers that are passworded to save money. The ones that are doing this to save money put their passwords in the name of the server so you want to pay attention on this.

I was on the NY server last night and it ROCKS. It turns out NIR is running the BattleRPG mod v6 there, so there are different things you can use with your mana pool, like Double damage, SpiderPig (electromagnet) and Magic Weapon maker, along with, of course, magic weapons. No WoPs yet, but that's only a matter of time. I think with the way that development has taken off, it will be just a matter of a few months before a reasonable facsimile of RPG Invasion w/WoPs is available.
It would be nice if, a few months down the road once development has had a little more time, Joeyz grabbed all the related MODs already created and made MonsterMadness for UT3... but unfortunately I remember a lot of us not being so keen on that a few months ago...

Beastie, as you know there are no Wops because thats Joeys creation. Last I heard Joey is not going to work with UT3. Maybe that has changed. Dont know. No Joey, no Wops. sad

Really? I did not think WoPs was purely Joeyz' creation as I have seen that Mod on other servers as well (I believe Roseannesbum was one of them). I do know, however, that the current incarnation on this server is all his code, and that this is the only server where we can get certain PUs, such as the shields, superlucky and the like.
I will double-check tonight, but again, I do believe other UT2k4 servers are running the WoP MOD.

I have "Invasion" as a game type, but can't find anything.
