well, just finished watching the last episode of 'Death Note' and i have to say, it was a very good series. the ending left me in a sorta awe/shock feeling (which is how a series like this should leave you

)
so...was wondering if anyone else on the forums has watched /is watching and what they think. or think of anime in general

Come on Q, I thought you knew I watched anime!
Anyhow, Death Note is a really good series, though it can be hard to follow @ times. I haven't finished the whole thing yet, as I am rapidly working my way through Naruto. I am about 1/3 of the way through season 9, then all that's left is Shippuden. Once I am done with Naruto I will go back and finish out Death Note. From there I'll probably watch Bleach. Still haven't seen the first episode or two, but I've been watching it since those on Cartoon Network.
Still gotta finish out "Helsing" too.

awe man...well now i know
Bleach is pretty awesome their one ep. 141 now i think...yep. [db]'s doing a pretty good job pumping out the subs every wednsday when a new one comes.
I haven't watched any of Naruto yet. but if its in its ninth season it might be worth checking out.
had off of class today so started watching Tsubasa Chronicles and its pretty good too(5 eps since i finished death note and started the thread).
the last 5 eps or so of death note are a real treat if you make it through the mid section of it.
whats helsing like? haven't really heard much about it

Man, talk about oldschool... that's pretty much what inspired "DragonBall Z" if I'm not mistaken. I was really in DBZ when it first started showing on Cartoon Network, but then I realized just how redundant it was right around the Majin Buu saga.
Another really good one to check out, if you haven't yet, is a favorite of both myself and my wife, CowBoy Bebop. Unfortunately it only ran for one season - 27 episodes and a movie - but it was an AWESOME series. Done by the same company that did Samurai Champloo - again, ANOTHER great series which only ran for one season - thankfully they played out the storyline to the end in each.

Cowboy Bebop...that defiantly ranks near the top if not claiming gold
that is the series that got me hooked on the genre when it was shown on [adult swim], then downloaded it and viewed it as a series, then got the movie and even that was a great experience.
each episode perfect when viewed alone. the greater story went beyond even what they showed(and a prequel season would be awesome of spike syndicate days even though we all know it won't happen this late), and finished with a complete sense of closure
along with a great soundtrack thats pleasing to listen with nice old-school jazz stuff along with plenty of other fun genres mixed in.
I actually had gotten the music OST's and that crazy 5cd box set long before i had finished the entire season.
