First off, 32Gb STICK? Most I've heard of are around 2-4, I think there's an 8 too....
Second, $300 for 32Gb? That's around £210. I can get a 500Gb external HDD for £50-£90. Or a 1Tb External for £75-£110...
The buyer is a moron if he thinks he's getting a good deal d=)

Actually, you can get up to 64gb........Here's what is available at Newegg:

And 1TB externals u can get for 90 USD if you catch the sales, otherwise they float around $100-$120

Wow, sucks to be that guy! Why would you pay $299 for 32gb anyways? Like DJ posted, $130 for a 64gb. Man, I remember 4 years ago 256mb was $50.

well the date is 1/08 so thoes things at that time might have been that much. SSD drives did not start getting big till lately. thoe it is only a 32 GB at present the 320 gb ssd for a desktop is still around $300 - $500
