Other people have already relayed the "game freeze" along with the other maladies that are probably being corrected.

That said, I'm a simple person. I don't know squat about the technical side of the game. However, I do know what hinders a game.

The crate. If the crate remains as it is, I will never open another one unless it's an absolute emergency. It was not so bad before, but now there are items in there that I cannot get rid of. Items that get layered over my main weapons, and because you cannot throw them away, it becomes a 2-step process to get to a main weapon.

The last time I opened a crate, there were two new items that really pissed me off because I could not get rid of them. The Claymores, and the C4 Charges. There is still a problem with being able to throw the Super Shock Rifle... Ever get a wand when you already have a SSR? It becomes a 2-step process to get to the wand, for me anyway.

As far as other crate weapons, there is no reason to have "regular weapons" as you would find in a normal weapon spawn. Please take those out.

The "new" new "Mutate Commander" and voting no longer exits. Instead of getting all items as a (highest level) commander, they have become monster-dropped pick ups...I actually like this much better, and it's more fair all around.

There is some talk about getting rid of the "Blast Cannon" for the flak. If people are worried about it, just make it more rare. It's a great pup, and has never been buggy for me.

The original intent was to make the weapons crate have all the weapons in it. (Yes even the standard UT weapons, some maps don't have all the weapons in them.) Joey and Paintball would like to keep it that way.
Anything that cannot be tossed can be fixed.
Personally Id rather see it go the route of a special weapons crate. You get all the weapons you cant get from power ups, and they are toss able.

Commander is not gone, it has to be worked on cause it is also showing signs of causing errors/crashes in the server. Commander will be in the game for good once that is fixed.

Blast Cannon is not going anywhere, why would we remove a perfectly working power up from the game?

Also I can't stress this enough. It is a test server. DO NOT PANIC when you see things removed and/or not working correctly. And if they aren't part of the development team don't listen to any hearsay.

The last thing Joey wants to do is remove any pros, and good features of the existing game and his own modifications. He really wants to implement new, and fun things.

Eventually all or most weapons will go the PU way, the same way as mini ssr, essr, laser, mini rl etc but a bit different.
They will take up a PU slot on your weapon but you can remove them to toss them to someone else for example, turning it back to it's original weapon.
It just changes the firemodes like all other weapon pu's and creates an overlay.
That's the idea for now atleast, it will drasticly decrease the amount of weapons in the same weapon slot.

Weapons like c4 and claymore not tossable can easaly be fixed.

Blast cannon won't be removed like I told you ingame, it becoming a bit more rare much like it is in 179 would be a good way to go due to the power of the PU.

MP5 is still being worked on by joey.

The regular weapons in the crate are there for those maps that you have less weapons on or even none at all.

We think Commander is the reason for the server crashes, so we're trying to solve things on that end.
It's a bit hard to tell at times due to UT showing only 1 error rather then all of them when something goes on.
Can fix one but another might pop up after the fix, so it's a bit of a process of elimination.
Currently don't have a clue what is causing the game to freeze but if you see any familiar patterns to it, please let us know, for me personally it seems to happen often at wave18 and often with the luci boss.

Like Mobster said, don't panic if things are removed because it can be temporary to sort out bugs/errors and nothing is really final untill we get to the stage where we have most errors, bugs and crashes worked out and test if everything keeps working correctly.
