old maps?

what happend to all the other good old maps, esp like "refined"...?
are they still on the way to be fixed or are they deleted?
or: is it possible to make a list which map wont return so i/we didnt ask for them "again and again"?
i know it takes time to fix them, but never hearing/reading anything about that or not seeing them in serverlist makes me think its to hard to fix them or takes more time than expected.
btw, sure, i have nothing against new maps, but if most of them make trouble too and need to be fixed too, then all your work will need longer, or? (not saying dont install new maps!)

i dont know how long it needs to learn how to fix maps, if its a 1h-lesson ill try to help, if it needs 1month well... ;-)
