old veterans maps-suggestions part 1

ok, here some suggestions for the next zs-map-poll.

sorry for the animated gifs, they have like 4-6mb...

if you dont see the anim-gifs you need to change forumskin (forgot if thats fixed now or not) or go settings of your browser and enable something like "allow anims/movies"...

i thought about makin sky-anim-gif, but i remembered he said sky "1" will return fixed soon... so thats why its not suggested here :-)

knave like i said "part 1" as topic-subject, im just workin (makin anim-gifs) on 8 other "old vets-maps", im sure some of them match with your want-2-play-these-again-maps :-) just gimme 1 day time im toooo lazy to make it ready now.... :-)

true!!!!!!!!! if some wellknown mapspecific things like sounds are deleted then map is often not really that what it was before... like paints trackmeat.... no sound and its just only a map.... i know some are annoyed cause of techno-sounds, others say its laggin us, but maybe with new patch sounds can be back??? any explanations about that?

btw trackmeat, if sound is really that problem, how big is this when using
only one soundspot in center of map instead of four? (one in every corner?) (or is it possible to play sounds not on a single soundspot, but generally on complete map with same loudness? [like using unreal music player, if you dont want hear, turn it off...maybe?])

Well since Joey hasn't been feeling well enough to be online for more than a few minutes it's still not tested.

I can't put maps into the ut2004/maps folder, only Joey can.

As for matrix alley....that's going to be a very big project since it's a map made to lag (well not really but it never was intended for anything more than an 8 player DM map).

just maybe put it in your next mappoll, maybe you dont need to fix it :-)))

and if its voted, maybe it can be resized, and ultraspammy-tooo-much-particle-producing-weps disabled, like flak... but maybe, if joey is right with all the new lag-reducing stuff and its workin well, its not needed to be fixed that much... we will see

hm.. i've played in matrix alley for a while on a diff server.. umm.. alien vs pred server i believe.. maybe its an updated version.. no idea, but i love those maps, still wish that the shoks were back though lol
