UT Server is down at the Michigan Data Center.

I checked and it is down; not getting a PING response. I am submitting a Help Desk Ticket now to find out what’s up. Could be just the network due to a severe storm or scheduled upgrade/maintenance of the network. Will let you know soon.

joeyz wrote:Well, my UT server is not down. I just found out that the entire data center network went down affective ALL servers on that domain. Even the http://www.affordablegameservers.com and email system for tech support at support@affordablegameservers.com is down too. They are working on the data center issue.

Someone was trying to brute force hack the server for two days straight so the server shut itself down in defense. Joey is now doing a ton of updates to increase system security.

Yeah it could be. I guess we will know if the server crashes again |-( . I know the server has always had problems in those areas though so maybe they just have gotten more apparent lately, or that brute force is accelerating the problem. I really have no clue.
