Hello Everyone,

On Cinco de Mayo Microsoft made downloads of Windows 7 Ultimate RC (Release Candidate) x64, and x86/x32 Public!! Here is a download link:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/eval ... ID=sprblog

You have to have a msn email account and possibly be registered with these guys.. I don't think I am and I still got to download after I logged in with my live.com account. It currently has downloads in these five languages:

English, French, German, Japanese, and Spanish.

No Italian yet IIO sorry :( But amy you are in luck :).
The RC will expire on June 1, 2010. Starting on March 1, 2010, your PC will begin shutting down every two hours. Windows will notify you two weeks before the bi-hourly shutdowns start. To avoid interruption, you’ll need to install a non-expired version of Windows before March 1, 2010. You’ll also need to install the programs and data that you want to use.

ehehe,
lately i'm trying a little bit of everything.

one of my old pc (athlon xp 2400+) 1GB ram + Geforce Fx 5200: debian linux 32 bit .

but now, after using for a long time just ubuntu, in my new pc: Phenom II 720, 4 GB ddr3 1600 (at the moment @ 1333 CL6) and GTX260 216sp (OC from manufactured -> PALIT) i use Ubuntu 9.04 and Vista Home Basic, both 64 bit.

I use Vista only to play, (in some games i do not have any choice) it's cleaned up a lot of things, unnecessary services blocked, removed unnecessary programs, programs to cut to the minimum required, no aero, or lateral bars etc etc :D, no themes, i use classic win theme, and at start i have 850MB of load ram (i think that is always too much).

I'm almost two weeks, i'm looking for an optimal setting hardware, re-learn windows, put my things, i do not have much time to try another.

Ah, use an operating system in English is not a problem (i'm using one now but,i do not tell you what :P) , for me the problem is to speak, write
and fully understand in english, in particular, everything that does not concern the english technical (in computer science) lol

If they made ubuntu easier to work with (or play nicer with other programs) I'd run it. Heard it uses way less resources.
