You use .ogg (vorbis) files for music in maps, and ogg files are not pushed by the server to clients so unless they already have the map (and have music enabled) they will not hear it.

The other way to add music in to a map is by converting the music to 8 bit wave (.wav) format and importing it in to mylevel then adding ambient sounds to the map which play the music.

Though I personally don't like forced music in maps very much, is too distracting and of poor quality even if I like the track.

Plus multiple ambient sounds always get out of sync even if they are in sync to start with, and they continually reset in spectator mode when ever you switch to another player view which is extremely annoying.

UT2004 has a built in music player that can play vorbis and mp3 files anyway, press F11 in game to open it and add files.

Anti making a jump pad is extremely simple. If you know where your actor class browser is you find Navagation points then you click on jump pads then utjumppad. Then you go into its propertites and find Forced paths. You add 1 and put the name of the path node that you want the jump pad to go to.
