i was thinking with alot of people that take your pu's and such and alot of ppl not distributing the out i came to an idea that maybe when u get the kill on a monster and what ever pu's drop only the player that killed the mob can pick it up but can also distribute it out if he chooses.

it's not nice that people pick up a pu that you earned, but really you'll have to deal with it

it's just a few people that won't share, even if they really don't need it. it's possible some people don't even know what they picked up or don't even see the text... a lot of people miss what i offer like infs and even golds and no one notices for a while

is it possible to make an addon to the powerups part, if you have an item someone asks for in text it changes colour or activates a sound? or flashing text under the inventory bar :s

That would be cool Nutter, I too am quilty of not reading text but I am conscience of that and I am getting better.

rb although your idea would certainly make it fair to the person killing the monster to get the pups but if I am killing the monster and watching his health go down with my awareness, and the last bit of health if removed from some newb that runs by with an MP5 or some veteran that happens by with a lady and finishes it off, I'll be damned if they deserve the pickup anymore than I do. I took the health hits and spent the time killing the monster although the final "shot-kill" in this particular case might have been someone else. I think there is plenty of sharing going on and, yes, there is a select few who don't but they fade away or become insignificant on the server or too the rest of us. I remember rb when you came in and RIP and I spent several maps dumping pups and weapons to you. Think of all the newbs that we want to keep coming to the server so it stays alive and fresh. They would hardly have a chance to pickup a pup if only the person killing the monster got them and then they have to rely on vets to give them leftovers in rounds 8-14.

Anyway, anyone of you need something just ask and if I can give it to you I will. I was trying to give out 3 summons, 2 inf, 2 vorps, 3 vamps, and a gold kit the other night in round 12 and couldn't get any takers.

I also Had another idea that would acualy be benificial well you know how the reset button reset's your lvl well insted of reseting your lvl have it reset your stat points saves the trouble of have to do a full server reboot and alway having to wait or bug joey about it.
