before "the dark time" (weeks server offline) server had 4 stars, then if i remember right it looked like some troubles began and it was downgraded to 3 (to many voted it negativ for some reason) then "the dark time" <happend>, after that long time offline the game-monitor-counter was resetted and it started with many positive votes as a 5-star-server. thats why 5 stars. in moment when you look at gamemonitor it says 4 stars... so
both is more or less right :-)

actually, the server reached 5 stars at one point, i remember this well when joey mentioned it in game. we played one semicramped, multilevel map that seemes much like Elric, but not the same. cadmium summoned a combat shotgun of rejuvenation and was using it 2 waves before joey told us the news, and granted everyone a wand to celebrate.

it held the 5 stars a few weeks before it dropped to 4. then it again dropped to three a month later. i haven't checked lately but somehow it became 4 again.

are votes or such the only thing that decides these star thingies, or are there other factors involved?

think so. vote is possible between "-1" - "+3", think they made that to avoid abusing negative votes. if 3 vote "+3" its +9, u need 9 votes with "-1" to have "0" score... dont think some admins from gamemonitor have time to visit mm regularly and check out, if all runs well on server... esp when there are thousands of servers.... dont think they are payed for that...
