I did kick vote him. I am hoping from the info here in this thread The Powers That Be will be able to look at what was was said in the logs and take appropriate action from there. Cad gave the the Map and the time and I gave a screenie as to what the freako's screen name is. Admins should be able to verify what was said from there. It was all in text. It is all verifiable.

As for this, since UT is 16+, there's not much we can do. Only thing I suggest if this happens and there isn't a mod on is just turn the voice chat off.

As for Axe coming back, no chance of that happening. Too many people against it.

There are things that can be done and the fact that the victim is 10 yrs. old and playing on a mature game has nothing to do with it. This is a sick SOB. If the logs can be generated and printed, they can be turned over to the FBI and if possible a UTAN ban could be done with his IP address to where he can't play on ANY UT server. Since I've admin on other servers in the past (AXE's and servers for HTC and GU) I'll volunteer for the job.

Great. Might want to add that (And don't quote me on this) UT doesn't log voice communication.

If it was through the in game text comms, then hang that weirdo, but I doubt you could nail him on voice..

Granted this guy's one sick puppy, but unless you can get either a log of him spewing this crap, or get him to admit it, then it's just the fans word Vs his.

Mind, that has worked before d=P

im sure his ip are logged in and it is possible to bann his/her ip or his other alias's, we dont need ppl whether their 10 or 50 harrasing 10yo's on the server. i werent there but alot of ppl seemed overly or pretty disgusted of what was being done/said, im just not sure how alot of ppl screenshots got blackend or messed up or not being kicked.

By reading all this and hearing you thoughts on what happend it seems someone with adminstrative power needs to do something about this right away. This isn't your everyday bullshit that happens on the server.

Well, I found out why my screenshot didn't come out........seems to be a bug in the nvidia drivers and the 8000 series cards.......seems this bug affects getting screenshots in UT and AA. I get great screenies in HL2.

I am greatly sorry this happened.

This person "CtrlAltDe1337" doesn't exist in the database for me to ban by CD Key Hash ID and I didnt have my net logger turned on to catch him by id or ip. Will turn logger back on to record extended data. Here is what I can tell you. By reading the information provided, this coward seems to be someone who has played here before and someone you may all know. He logged on and joined game with his normal player name then used a small kiddie ut2k4 tool to change his username to "CtrlAltDe1337" during mid-game. He then went to spectate mode and started his childish acts. I had my net logger turned off so it didn't capture the original name (user ID) and ip data. I normally leave this off to reduce lag. Will turn it back on asap to catch that person. Like they say, "Criminals always return to the crime scene." If he does it again, no matter what name used, we will know who it was and I will ban his CD Hash Key and Neighborhood IP Address. Will also pass it on to EPIC so his CD Key/IP Address is placed on a GLOBAL BAN LIST across the UT Community. That would be a fatal mistake if he does it again because his CD Key wont be allowed to play anymore UT2k4 multi-player games. Anyways, be patient and don't let this guy get under your skin. Thats exactly what he wants... irritate you. Just laugh it off and deny him satisfaction. No matter what server you go to, there will always be a moron there to try and ruin your fun. This guy would be a fool to do it again, for all IP or CD Hash class III bans will be perm. This means that I carry all the moron bans to the next generation of UT (ie; UT3).

From what I understand, ZombieSlayer (admin) just left server prior to the misconduct of the individual. Will consider a couple more admins according to time zones so that we have 24 hour coverage. But again, will turn on my personal net logger that records all activity to help monitor the situation.
