When life throws you a curveball.......

Post by Archangel » Wed Mar 02, 2011 11:21 am

Well, life threw me a curveball recently........

On Feb. 25 I went to the ER because of headaches, upper chest pains and dizziness. Doctor ordered a CT scan, then another and found a mass in my brain. I then had an MRI done and it has confirmed the presence of the mass. So right now, I'm scheduled to see a neurosurgeon on the March 11th for a consultation and to see what direction I should take. Most likely it will involve the removal of the mass and then determining if it's cancerous. Hopefully, things will go in a positive way and I'll be around for many years to come.

Arch I don't even know what to say. I will keep you in my prayers and just know that these days in 2011 you are in good hands. Better to be seen by a doctor now than a doctor in the 1800's. The important thing is that you went to the doctor and they found it. A lot of people wouldn't have done that. This gives you a great chance to beat this thing, whatever it is. Stay strong man and let us know how you are doing and if there is anything we can do to help.

Damn Arch :( I hope the surgery is a success and that the mass is benign.

Well, got another curveball thrown at me........tuesday nite, while playing on the server, I had a massive heartattack and had to have 3 stints put in (just got home today). Start my radiation / chemotherapy next week on my brain tumor and hopefully I'll get about 10-20 more yrs. of life. It was a close one though tuesday but I have a pretty positive outlook on all this.

My god Arch, stay strong. I will keep praying for you. You're going to get through this just keep fighting and when this is all said and done dedicate the rest of your life to making sure you are as happy as can be. I will setup a donation account to help cover your medical costs just private message me your PayPal email. I will talk to joey about diverting our server donations to that fund as well. Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help.

Damn Arch you're a strong mofo. Most people would still be in the hospital recouping. I'm sure you'll pull through the brain surgery just fine.
