a link gun upgrade napalm kinda thing
primary = homing fire balls that cause damage over a period of time and stick to monsters
secondary = sustained fire flamethrower that lights things on fire causing sustained damage for a period of time after the flame has moved away

Im gonna say no to that, as it would probobly not be a "lag friendly" weapon with all of the burning textures staticmeshes etc, although I agree that the link gun needs a new powerup, considering that darmar is probobly the most useless powerup on the server in my opinion. Maybe something like the plasma gun, its primary fire does spread damage and doesnt bounce off of metal monsters, and the alt fire is a charge shot (which wouldnt be very useful but since its a just a powerup only the primary would be used)

yeah, link and bio guns are pretty useless, unless adding the weapon spread pu and getting right up into a monsters face. that damar powerup is...bleh :P

we had the flamethrower on da old server before. it was weak and caused lag, jus like da cutter rifle

I kinda like the napalm sticky fire idea, but the flame thrower idea is gay.

I think a good alt fire for the pu would be to shoot out a web like the scorpions do. So you can hold alt fire and build up a charge, or just clicky and fire a smaller weblike thingy.

I'm for sure not running my As$ up to wand or vortex to shot fire at them. HE!! NO.

THATS WHY YOU HAVE FCKNG HOMING NAPALM >.<

so im the only one thats for this?. and watch, the ppl i send it to to try it out/test it and stuff (those people would be coke, coke, coke, and any1 else who wants to try it out) will absolutely love it. but w/e, im still gonna finish it, good practice for my uscript.

So we're making poison redundant are we? You could get roughly the same sort of set up (bar homing) on the link using that pu. Don't really see the point tbh
