all right everyone, like last time, i too have a story to go with this one :}. remember how i mentioned that i would like to try the lightning rod in a more enclosed room to see how well i would do? well, about 4 hours before posting this, i had such a chance!
i actually started off getting the the lightning rod in round 2 believe it or not, but i didn't have the proper amount of slots or pus to use it properly just yet. so i go through the next waves, hearing kurt yell at others a lot on voice chat for taking summons and swearing at enemies XD. but thats beside the point. i collect the damages i needed rather quickly since there were so few playing while i vainly looked for any energy pus. i actually summoned around wave 4 or 5 a mini rocket launcher and started working on that. i had everything i needed by wave 7 except energies, at which time i had 3 single ones, not enough to properly fuel the rod yet.
worried that a wand would appear to kill me, i was scared i would not get the chance to use the rod as i wish. then around wave 11, i came across an energy 5 and slapped that on right away, giving me a total of +9 energy. then the next wave, as soon as a fair amount of monster appear, i start it up. and i just go and go and go! i felt bad since in a way, i stole a lot of kills from others and rob them of the experience, but this kind of ultrakillingness is just so much fun! i hope you all get to try it someday!
but on with the story...at one point on wave 15, i run with superspeeded blurriness into a dumb rock -,,- as i was ghosting, my lightning hit Von and killed him. i felt horrible about that...and this thing may need to be fixed soon since it seems wrongful to happen. i continue to murder the monsters indiscriminantly and during the wave i pick up a green key and a summon pu. so the wave after, as a way to apologize for the wrongful death, i give him both of those to Von in hopes it helps out. in the meantime, Merc summons a lady and gets his fair share of killing in..
wave 18 approaches, and all is going well for a few minutes, then wands appear. someone is killed right away, and i jump like mad to the wall where the beams were coming from. i shoot down and my splash damage and main fire from the mini's rockets combined with lightning kill fast while i remain safe. the level continues, everyone else dies but Von, then he does when the next wand appears from the same damn place, where i repeat the same strategy and kill the dikc. but without any help out all, with all those monsters, i was in a frazzling situation. there was so so much i couldn't keep up, and with so many lightning bolts going out, adrenline store was actually in danger even with the +9. i recall the adrenaline almost instantly going down to the 30s for a short time. i just shoot into the crowds and get so close as i can to try and kill as many as i can and replenish the adrenaline. and i succeed! and kurt was pissed i was killing everything too
anyways, wave 19 was easy, warlords fall fast with the lightning powered with the gun stats and they were no issue. then just before wave 20 begins, i hear Merc say "drag" and in a second i see he had given me his lil lady gun he's been using o,,o. i take it, but the wave has just started, so i had no time to says thanks, and yes, in the back of my min i was worried as heck i didn't express my gratitude and come off as a jerk since i was trying to kill as much as i could right away. well..this wave..i think i was the only one out there! i don't remember the best but i think saw no nametags running around so it was scary as heck. but with the lady and lightning, all was great! until a rock hit me x,,x i ghosted, regained composure, and went at it again! i saw nothing unusual, not even the vortex lucifer, which suprised me since when i have a lady, one ALWAYS spawns right near me on wave 20 >,,<
and we win!!! and thus i get this unbelievable score! all of this was possible only by the selfless teamwork you guys illustrate so well, because i know there was no way i could have done it without the lady in such an insane crowd of baddies. thank you, Merc, that was wonderful! next time we play together, and if i summon a lady and you don't have one, i shall let you have it. i can kill well with anything i am given, and incidentally, in the past 2 days i summoned so many it has been unreal. unreal! \^,,^/
oh and look, Von is in the pic with me. i thought it only proper to show him too since he is actually the one who helps me out often , even if i am not asking for anything; an exemplary teammate of the finest :}

if Merc gave me his gun before wave 20..what was he using then after? nothing? :{
i am so so so sorry, this was a double inconsideration on my part while i was so hyped up at the time. i should have given you my gun at the moment right then, Merc. i feel like such a jerk now..
i'll make it up to you with the lady, and another good weapon i summon sometime v,,v
if Merc gave me his gun before wave 20..what was he using then after? nothing? :{

Unbelievable finish- all alone!
Ok, so this game started off pretty bad, the server was full and I couldnt get any pups the 1st few waves. I eventually got a razor and purpled my flak up to +10 and was doin fine. On wave 10 i think, somehow i got the green key and chest at the same time, someone who died must have been a noob or not known they had one of the two. So I took the lady +4 and golded it, gave the wand to crayola and passed everything out. By the time it was wave 18 I was playing alone and already had about 7000 frags. There were 18 people through most of the game but at the start of wave 20 there were 16.
I had given out another lady on wave 17 (lucky lately heheh) that i summoned but they had died along with crayola, so I ended up playing wave 18-20 with 16 dead people watching me. Crayola couldnt take being outscored by so much so he went to spectator when he died at the start of wave 20. Wave 19 was the funnest, because I was running around with ss and my loaded lady killing hundreds of deemer warlords. I was almost dead on wave 20 but a globe fell right in front of me and i laughed my ass off, grabbed it and finished the rest of the wave. Talk about luck and irony. I'd like to see draeghon beat wave 18-20 on his own on that tiny doom recall map ( YOU CAINT! )

hehe, tmoney, i am honored you see me as someone worthy to try and beat :D but yes, very good job on scoring so well on that map. it beats my score of around 10.5k on it i got on it using a laser rifle a few days ago. and i wasn't alone on the last 2 waves
take into consideration that doing well to stay alive is hard for me, with low health and no regen skill. i also almost never ask for pus because i don't like to make others feel they have to run around and find me to deliver, putting them at a risk in a way. on occasion i may ask for a heal if i got a lady and don't have one or a superspeed depending if its about to be wave 18 on a very large level. i also never ask for a weapon from the weapon chest unless i have the green key and/or chest too if i see 4 or more regulars playing. i do this to let them all have a good chance to kill nicely and also, sometimes it can take awhile for the weapon giver to get them all out and it puts many at risk. i have seen times where weapon giving out has killed everyone since they monsters all start to come at them in masse and they are concnetrating on getting a wep and configuring it x,,x in all, i pretty much like to stay self-sufficient in this game, and i share my stuff with random people. i know many who never say a thing, so on occasion i will find such a person and unload pus or a nice wep i don't use any longer on them.

.. why did you leave!? spectating and having the good wep you did could have lost the match since team effort effects everything
but yes, not easy to score so high, baby, and kudos goes to anyone getting 8k or over through whatever means they do! i did get 12,300 on grendelkeep last night with syn and hickey and others. that was a fun one because thats not an easy map since monsters are everywhere and not a single safer spot to crawl around for a moment to blast away for either having a safe moment of fragging masses or self-heal purposes.
