Hi Guys, hi Amy, i remember the occasion you are talking about and i was worried that i was going to be kicked, at one point my ping reached 220, i figured at first that you had left or your computer had crashed! I know you are from germany also as i have spoken with you in german on a few occasions, 'curry wurst'!!! (still miss them

) I know i asked who webadmin was on a few occasions, directley after the webadmin message came up about checking pings. NO RESPONSE!
After wave 16 my ping ALWAYS goes above 200 at some stage during that wave but returns to normal at the begining of the next wave. I have a 3.2 chip and foxconn motherboard with 1 gig memory and i am playing with the same ping as when i was using my ACER laptop which was 2.6 chip and only 3/4 of a gig memory.....(my ping may even have been better with the laptop

)

BUT, I understand that if my ping creates a problem I need to disconnect and restart everything .....surely not in waves 18,19 and 20 though as I would lose out on exp especially if I have helped get us that far. Fair enough i'm not one of the big hitters, scores are ok for me but as pointed out, i help other players, usually by creating a second weapon and keeping it until someone needs it or a pu thats on it, this keeps me busy and helps lower levels to score. On the other hand i've managed to prove I have what it takes to complete a map as I was last 'wo'man standing on neinfinal6b with a vortex still running around (there was another player but i can't remember their name and they died before i killed the vortex and other lucifers) AND i completed the map (i'm real proud of that lmao)

I love this server and am proud to be a member of this forum, I don't write here often as there is usually no need (many peeps hold the same opinion as I do) but as I was specifically mentioned I felt obliged to give my 2 peneths worth.

I have no problem translating for him / her if needed. Just because someone is a little slower at english shouldn't matter!
Amy let him / her know if he / she is lost on anything and i'm in game just to talk to me and i'll try to help, my geman may not be perfect but there again, i have lived in england for the last 20 out of 27 years!!!

Amy havent you heard there is a virus that only slows down computers while playing UT. Its called the Nag gers virus. Whoever whinnes, cries, b!tches, complains about maps,= (nag gers) and they are a virus and should be removed from UT.

I'm created a patch for Ut and its already working great in UT. It was tested last night and worked flawless. Instructions -----
Hit your ESC key and look for KICK VOTE tab. Scroll through players name and click over player name. Then click KICK VOTE. Now in order for this to take affect you do need half the votes (I think, code works just a small flaw in instructions, people work with me) So when the server has a nagging virus please follow these simple steps to remove the virus from your computer because it can and it can infest the server. Thanks to all who read this and follow instructions. Please be advised that anger, rage, and harsh words might be present durning the removel of this VIRUS.

if he is typing too much then it could be me playing while he is learning for his final examination as a chemical worker for metal-surface-finishing (wordly translated...i do not know the right translation nor did i found someone...)...

spectating as a webadmin is one thing, "typing" who you are is another,
and "saying" who you are is often a thing some forgot about that many players DONT HAVE VOICECHAT on for some reasons so you can ask what you want, i or others wont hear you!
if this is a reason to kick someone cause they dont "hear" you and didnt answer........
and again about ping, like you said you have no time to chat, but you have time to kick? (if it was you) if you only look into logs and read about errors or whatelse you can whatch as an admin, how can you really be 100% sure its my high ping causing trouble where no trouble is when everthing is running normal for players and all play and noone moans or cry for not seeing pus, for no wep-fire, for no disapearing weps etc, how can you see in the log it makes trouble when you dont spec and "see" for real, whats going on, but when you read logs you can?? confused a bit...

ok j/k, mabye some can put a lil smile in his/her face...

and if it was you,
re-read my post about my high-ping-situation and why it looks like its sometimes "suspicious" (like some love to say...) have it a bit tooo long that high. and again, mostly i leave bevore i have troubles myself with that highping or leave when map ends, but didnt rejoin cause its mostly bottleneck-time then! but as long most runs normal i see no sense in leavin!
and like some say, read or whatch what other players doing, typing, saying, and judge then.

btw, if a webadmin is logged in, and he is downloading w/e nearby, could it affect too? cause there can be 2 visible specs, and its shown what ping they have, but its not shown from a webadmin. so, maybe im wrong, but as long a webamin is logged in silenced and noone can see or recognice him/her until he/she starts talking/typing, he/she is invisible? how can we be sure its not an admin who causes lags? maybe this thinking is now a bit paranoid or tooo far now, just my opinion....but would be interest to know.

and finally last thing i want know:
if i recognice, i dont see my weaponfire, if i dont see pus, if i cant scroll through pus or they are shown blank, if monsters disapear, if players disapear, if i can read written text only in console but with no playername before the text, if i see 12 Players in F1-list, but 18 when i look in serverbrowser, if players starts to have a green enemy-line (like when having awareness) on their head instead of a name and if they die it shows me a deathmessage like "a monster dropped a howie into a monsters head" (instead of the playersname), if i see nothing more than a "empty" map (but still can hear all 1001 monsters. weaponfiring , dieing-sounds etc)
why the hell does this all starts (happen only to me at that time) when MY ping reaches 230-240 and finish then in seeing nothing when ping is 280+,
but others in the u.s. have only ping like 80-90, and it happens to them too????????why?????
and it doesnt matter if I am on server or not, i know some talked about same problems they had when i wasnt there, so i think if they dont lie and its true then i guess its not really a or my high--ping-problem...

I will say it again, I have not kicked anyone for Pings,

During my time as an admin I have only had to kick 3 people and have only banned 1 person. It is always the last resort!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was not me typing,
The WebAdmin console shows up in the chat just like a spectating admin and there can be several admins in at any given time.

I see im in the middle of something i had nothing to do with when i was not bothering anyone and just trying to do my job of fixing maps. It won't happen again.

Anyway, thats all i have to say about it.
Trust me, I'm one of the easiest admin to get along with you will find, other than Joey,

I'm not blaming you Cj. I take your word for it you know me. and most of the time when you are having trouble with pings you look at the map first and then at certain players and you also try to get there attention like zombie did last night.

btw you said you was there speccing looked for me like you was the only
one speccin, so its a bit misunderstanding from both sides.

i dont want endless discussions, i want play. if there is a problem with me or others who got kicked and noone knows who or why and the only way to fix that problem is to hide behind a admin-mask, flex adminmuscles and/or hitting kickbuttons instead of finding a solution or compromise.... well.....i go sleep, tired of typig long
