BANNED?!

I was banned tonight and the only thing I can come up with is high ping as I was booted for it earlier in the map. However, the game before EVERYONE in the server had at least a 150 ping, most were above 200. When I got booted AXE said it was because I didn't answer when they asked wehre everyone lived. I simply didn't hear him ask. However, when I came back in, I told him that I live in Alabama. He said ok, and I thought that was it. Then about 2 waves later I get permanently banned. I would like to know what is going on as I have not done anything to anyone. Can I please get a response as I love the server and think this is an unjust action. :axe:

AS I know Joeyz will BAN all players in U.S. that have above 100 ping. Cause it's impossible someone in U.S. have that ping. That's the new rule. Stop downloading while playing or using slow connection even using low end pc to play invasion.

what about ur internet connection huh? some ppl just have slow connections. im over 100 plenty and iv got nothin else running. am i to be banned for shit i cant do anythin about? ppl are over 100 all the time and there's nothing they can do about it, ppl just needa learn to deal w/ the fact that sometimes theres lag, sometimes ppls networks get hung up, sometimes other ppl use up all the bw on a network, sometimes the internet is just stupid, but can we change that? no.

Correction.

It is impossible for anyone that is CLOSE to the server to have 100 ping. Areas that are too far off like AZ or Cali will have over 100 ping...

This SHOULD be the last time I have to list the specs of my pc, don't give me anymore "low end" or "slow connection" bs if you read this post EVER!!!

As most everyone is still fixated on the lag issue, I post my question again. What more can I do to help with the lag? I am running on a 3 week old computer that is pretty much loaded to the gills with the best hardware that can be bought for a home computer. I am running a 400 gig SATA harddrive with an AMD Athlon 2.6x2 gig processor. I have a 1000 mhz + h/t FSB. I have 2 gigs of DDR2 memory and a stand alone GEForce 256 m\b video card on a 500w power supply. I have my USB keyboard and mouse (optical) plugged in to my USB 2.0 ports. I have Knology Highspeed Cable internet (up to 7 mbps, average of 5.5-6.5). So what more can I do? I love Joeyz server and want to be able to continue playing there, but I don't want to be the cause of any problems. I run a firewall all day until I turn on UT2K4, which is the only time I turn it off. I run my spyware-adware program daily. I de-frag once a week. And I NEVER run any other programs at the same time. So again, what more can I do?

Isn't the server in Texas? I am in Alabama, which puts me a lot farther than Cali or AZ. I usually run about 90-120 ping. But as I stated last night, EVERYONE in the room had a 200+except for 1 person, who was like a 150. EXPLAIN THAT. BETTER YET EXPLAIN WHY I WAS THE ONLY ONE BANNED FOR IT!
