Sick of seeing people take advantage of hacks/cheats

Ok so we all know there are many tricks to stack up powerups, like speed and damage for example are the most common. I used to do it too, but I have matured a lot in the last year, and I played like that for a long time, so nowadays I try and play fairly so everyone can have fun and get kills and powerups. However, there are still players who use these cheats every time they play. So now, over the past few weeks, rather than doing the same thing that draeghon and I used to do and all of the other guy's taking advantage of these things, I decided to voice my opinion, and be the better person by playing fairly like everyone who doesn't know the tricks. It's selfish, and although for them it may make it easier to kill and get exp, lets be honest its the high level guys who do it, they don't really need the extra help! So I say this to you all: Next time you think about stacking up damage and speed think about all of the weaker players who are still trying to level up there character, and who don't know all of the tricks. They don't know how to use more than +10 speed or damage at once, or how to get extra wrenches etc. I don't really care what people think of me, I just want to make the game better for everyone. I used to be an admin in the UT99 days and I always was a strong believer in balancing things out.

I thought I would add: I went back to the server and it saddens me to say that a lot of players are afraid to come forward and say what they have seen because everyone just denies it. I was talking to a few people who saw certain players doing fishy stuff, mainly the pu stack hacks, but since there has already been so much drama and crap... they don't bother saying anything, they just try not to play with those players. In fact they said they tried not to play with me a year ago when I did that stuff, which I can't blame them. I don't know, I don't want to start anything here I just think that people need to be less selfish. I honestly don't really need any feedback from this post, I wanted everyone to know that there are still people out there playing unfairly and doing things that I thought were kickable or bannable offenses. And I know no matter what there are going to be jerks who don't care about anything but doing what they want, when they want, and don't care about any other players, but remember this: invasion is a TEAM game, and at some servers they are going to boot you right away for doing that kind of stuff. Weapon of power servers are definitly controversial because there are so many bug's and ways to take advantage of them. I don't know. But whatever, I'm out and I don't plan on returning to the forum for a while because I don't want to start any arguements. I just want to voice my opinion and be heard, and hopefully something good will come out of it for the server!

Hey Tmon! Come on over to the NIR UT3 server! No PUs there, so no way to cheat! The levels you get are EARNED & FAIRLY so, since that's the ONLY way to get them! Although it's REALLY easy to level up fast if you join the server while it is empty and spend your time destroying enemy nodes/building your own for XP!

this topic was created because whiney money was losing to me with a low+ rl wop with flare when he had a decent lady. of course, he will play the innocent and angelic role without mentioning his shortcomings. lets take that Agony map for instance...he acquired a rl power 9 normal and i asked for 3 waves for it with no response. he wanted me to lose to him, of course, so he went ignorant and nobody else received the rl when i or others would cream for a normal wop like that. then, at thee same time, he mentions over and over he has infs or protections 5 pus for anyone that can give him a real good rl or flak to wop..yeah..trading powerups..nice teamwork. i just toss what i don't need as most do without needing as karma would have it, he ghosted from vortex and ressed into a wall and died. then he left.

i am tired of the accusations of hacking or cheating when i have never used or relied on anything of the sort ever here with one superspeed pu exception in the past (like 8+ months ago), and i really do not appreciate my name brought into such topics. too bad if i play better overall in this type of gaming and anger those who simply must have top score. i don't play for score 90% of the time, i play to succeed in a map's challenge and enjoy myself here. that other 10% is when someone who said to me "i want to beat you" and then i will spend my time checking scores between every wave and hope to succeed in the challenge.

anyways, money mentions about bad individuals at this server and unfair practices, well, i think he should relfect a bit on himself rather than decieve himself into thinking how wonderful he is with everyone. i guess paintball and kung fu grip and deathrasher and whoever else has beaten him all hack too. anyone that outscores him hacks, because there simply is no other way it can happen, oh my god! :o

it is my belief that nearly noone here hacks in any manner, but the topic is always strong in peoples' minds because of fools who cannot stand losing. these people are as such because they are ultimately thinking of their self-motives and not the team as they claim to find importance in, and to defame and try to stir up malcontent only weaken the team.

there, my rant and anger, which i am entitled to vent since others can here. i am not a bad person, i don't act like a jerk, and i am not a major hypocrite, nor do i hack in any manner, yet i keep having to face this stuff time and time again. only advantage i take of here are using shield regen/heal regen/speed powerups on unused wops like most others do.

What you fail to realize is that it is NOT hacking by stacking PUs. It's called "Strategy". You aquire the PUs and use them as YOU see fit.

I'm fairly new to the server, but I'm pretty sure that being able to stack PU's is not hacking or cheating, which usually entails using third party software, or altering game code?.

I started stacking PU's as soon as I grasped the basics of them...

I don' remember running an .exe....
