Denial has stopped working for me any1 else?

Since last patch ive been losing the weapon im holding 90 percent of time.I have denial maxed out and just dont know why this started happening.If u put a denial pu on the weapon i still lose it unless its not in my hand then i get to keep it.So i reset my stat points to get rid of denial to see if the pu would work for me if i didnt have bought denail and guess wha tit didnt work.So i rebought denail and gave it another shot.I summoned a battleshotgun and wopped it.I was shot and killed then ressed 1 minute or so after ressing i was killed,next wave started i had nothing again?Can some1 look into this for me because the way it is right now i have to put a pu denial on the weapon i want to keep then get it out of my hand be4 i die to keep it and thats real hard.

happened to me before.but then i reinstalled ut and it didnt happened before it could be you download too much skins also because thats how i losed my weapons ut crash and all that.but now im ok with that problem.

I once (maybe twice) lost my MP5 and I had full denial. Sucks that you cant put Retention pu on it either.

Never did reinstall can you tell me how without losing my lvls?

what you do is you know your game stats remember your username and your password the thing in settings in the section game.So when you reinstall you can get back your levels by typing back your name and remember your username and password in your track stats. :finga:

i dont get it, theres a special weapon-loss-thread in bug-reports, why "you" allways post that here? "General" is not the only thing in the MMI-forum!

border i know you using adren-speed-combo a lot, try to remember if the weaponloss happend (sometimes, allways...) when you used that. or now, if you know it "allways" happens (only) to you, maybe you stop playin for highscores and start to look only for weaponloss for some maps, please? i know its hard when you want try to be killed by monsters, but there are some peoples who try to find out what that weaponloss causes and maybe you can help with that!


mp5 and shieldgun-loss:
mp5 and shieldgun are your primary weapon, which you "normally" allways have when you spawn. now, when you die, however,
and respawn next time, did you ever recognice you got a "new" shieldgun and a "new" mp5? if you had a wop-mp5 or sg, or a retention in one or both, and "denial" or "retention" IS workin, you will recognice 2 weapons in one slot, the old one you had and the new one. i think the problem here is with getting "new" primary weapons (or whatever the 2 standard-spawnweapons are called) which maybe cause some conflicts/errors in some (unknown??) cases and "deletes" the old weapons for whatever the reasons are!!!
another problem is, it looks like this have nothing to do with weaponloss from other weapons, doesnt matter if they the normal ut-weapons or summoned weps or wops.

in last time many recogniced and/or posted
"only" weaponloss with that two weapons. i know now comes mister syngame and says "did never happen to me", be happy then, but thats not what we want to know/talk about. dont try to use mp5 or shieldgun, when you have problems with weaponloss.

maybe a reinstall "can" help, but i know many who do a reinstall "wrong"...
if you only overwrite all standard-ut-files when reinstalling ut, all the old "extended" crap (like other downloaded and installed mutators, skins, maps, mods etc) will not be deleted so it was wasted time.
delete all ut-folders ,before you try to do that.

*note1*:
some (like me) have huge maps- and textures-folders (have 18gig now). if you have a slow connection and you need to download that all again..... you know what i want to say... well, some bad maps/(and missed) textures can cause troubles, but not really when you dont play them. ut is recognicing, when a map needs textures, meshes etc, at beginning when you start it. when a missed "file" is recogniced, it will be written down in ut2004.log-file. if you have 1000s of missed files you need to wait till ut is ready to post that in the logfile. so be sure this messages
have only a small amount in logfile. if, then i think theres no problem to keep the maps/textures and only overwrite/delete the rest, esp. all what is in system-folder.

*note2*:
border (and all others who think you need to do that), make a copy of your user.ini and ut2004.ini before reinstall. if you play on "stats"-servers, to be displayed in epic-stats, you need to enter a password and a username. if you forgot that, (u cant see it in settings, its #######)
open your user.ini in ?:\ut2004\system-folder and search for:
StatsUsername=########
StatsPassword=############
you need (to copy) that!
if you dont have your ut-key anymore i think your levels will gone too...

*edited* you will see your statsusername and statspassword there!!!!
i just overwrite my things with "######" !!!!!!

I forgot the password i put in over 2 years ago so what can i do?And also i posted the gun loss were amy told me to i hope it gets attention.
