Well like I said before I am new to this mod so take everything I say with a grain of salt, but try to understand my reasoning even if I am not getting my points across well.
The point I was attempting to make before is this. I was under the impression that everyone was playing here because they like the good aspects within this mod. I personally considered the freedom of your choices as one of them. Rocket, mini, kill, heal, wickedlaugh1, reset stats, do what makes you feel satisfied. At least that is what caught me at first. Obviously the mod has plenty of room to grow but what it already has is a natural balance and a natural ability to get teammates working in cooperation, loosely based. Work on solidifying that. Stay away from the need of the perfect class combination. I don't want to play a class because I have to just to win. Get what I mean? So I guess what I would encourage is to build upon the good aspects in a way that it doesn't change the gameplay so dramatically.
If everyone is really that desperate for classes then lets figure a way to implement it without turning this into another frustrating structured game of limits.
Realistically we should learn from the mistakes of bf2142, rather then limit ourselves by their standards. In the long run its the original ideas that capture the gaming community across the world. And if I may say so the gaming world, while polished and technologically astounding, is quite boring and in need of more successful originality and gameplay. What Im not excited for is bf513945 or eversmack26b. I am excited for the potential of new mods and ideas.
