I don't even play invasion. I lost interest when blast went like the Dinosours. SSR is more common then the Blast PU It doesn't matter though peeps. We can bitch all we wont about this topic AGAIN. Last time we did we got the Blast Powers and Spread, Flare. Last time we said the Powers up of SSR dropped to much we got those took away like crazy. Hell I haven't even level in over a month. ALot of people passed me up since I don't play but half a map. and its CARBALL

and, amy..oh my god..yes, he does beg for it way too much. 95% of the time, noone is going to give away the ssr mini pu unless they already have one...don't people realize this!? same with summon powerups. i trade mini ssr for just about anything else, like combat, lady, mini rl, howie, fireball..they do so much better as i know from experience.

i give ssr mini pus and such away...but those who ask every wave for them are certain to never get these things from me. i apologize, but the constant "need" spoken so freaking much annoys me >,,<
if y'all think it is too overpowered, i have a solution, build a nice ssr pu based gun up and give it to a low level, end of problem.

retention
2 infs
vorpal
sturdy/iron (when available)
shield/healthgen (when available)
some shields(rock/insta/reflections etc) when available
some damages (when available)

well...

1. player level 10 noob:
was "very" good with it, got it from me in wave 11 in dust,
died a lot, but also leveld 14-15-16-17? dunno, but he was 25 after matchwin...

but he was an exception....

...beginning of new problems:

2. player level 30:
again in dust, from wave 14 with mini-ssr... hiding in deemer-room, crying about im too lowlevel i will die a lot...i started to kickvote him (ok, that was not nice) but then he tried....well died a lot and couldnt really handle the gun, tried allways to trans back in deemerroom, and was killed most of time while doing that.. :-(

3. player level 10 noob:
in mixer, from wave 8 or 9, feared monsters that mutch so he hided in that lattice-case, was happy about that funny beams...
i was pissed of wasting a good wep to someone like that...
more players started to kickvote, and finally in wave 19 he tossed it to another player and left....

4. player level 61 (!) [not mini-ssr, but a fully loaded rl+10ext.]
cant remember the map and when i tossed it, but he prefered to play with
a simple mini-gun-wop instead of the rl, (i guess he was good with mini in
DM, or he thought minigun in movies or other games "must" be the best wep..., dunno)... needed 3 or 4 waves to explain the fully loaded rl does help him more and save him more than his mini....after 1 wave testing it and in 2. wave killed in first 10 seconds he left...

well after all that with that one exception i dunno if its a really good idea to toss "overpowered" weps to noobs...anyways would do it again, if he/she/it
stay and come back again to the server, i bet they show more teamwork cause of that instead of when playing nearly barehanded all the time...

Negative. I remembered showing chuckles in a map that only had snipers, that I had 3 ssr mini pus.

And giving it to a random noob doesn't always help. They probably still can't kill anything not just cause of there db.

Skills play a part in that as well.... When I started over, it didn't take me long to gain 40 levels. (It took me one map.) When you have aim and a weapon like that and lady and wand, shit is just easy...If the noob doesn't have aim then it really only helps them a little bit....

I agree with several of the statements, but this one sums it up the most. Yes, it does drop way to often now-a-days (not saying I won't use it, but 4 in one map is overkill). Lowering damage would automatically lower vamp (if I think I understand how vamp works); it would still be a fine weapon to use but this change would offer some more caution when using it.

Maybe give the change a shot and see how it plays out.

hmm, i see chachee is being all forummy active tonight!

i think no pu can be coded right now to drop once per wave...but if it could, then it would all be good. i'd prefer it stay and remain as it is since it is a fun wep for most, but it is way too common..way way to common

I think the SSR Power Up shouldn't get dropped anymore.It's a strong weapon and i've seen enough of them.Since there are like 10 each map :shock: .

I could be mistaken, But I think he meant 1 time per map :roll:
