Change username from one GUID to another

Ok, time to clarify and reflect thigns I have tried so far.

When we started playing on the server, we had only one PC. On that one PC we had seperate players, [BGE]Cha-Chi and [BGE]chloe. Whenever one of us would get on to play, we would go to options and change the username (not the stats name) and load into server and have our accounts load our Levels and such properly.

Now we have two PC's. On her PC, she has her own copy of UT installed (meaning our UTs were installed with different CD keys, giving each copy a unique GUID) Your UT2004 Global ID is a unique number that is generated from your cd-key (it is not your cd-key).

On a previous RPG server we played on (that also had World Stats enabled) we had to send our GUID's via PM to the main server Admin and he ahd to change that on the server to allow a similar change. Thatis why I asked the question.

Things we have tried so far:
So today we tried entering the World Stat name into her copy of UT and have her try loggin on. She then tried entering the server under the name [BGE]chloe. When she started the next wave, she did not have her levels and the username that appeared on the score board was "[BGE]chloe_Imposter".

If the accounts are only stored via World Stats username, could we have done something wrong? If they are not stored that way, is there an Admin who can verify that we need to send the new GUID and world stat name to play under?

ah, now..

ok, thats a thing only joey (server-owner/admin) can do, maybe cj.
in that case its not workin, the server recognices there are 2 [BGE]chloe, but with different cd-keys. 2 players with same name cant exist, so it automatic renames the second chloe to imposter, in that case the "new" >created< chloe. (with created i mean build own pc....)

i guess what joey can do:
transfering scores from chloe to imposter, deleting chloe and renaming imposter to chloe. in moment you dont need to send him the guid because he have it from that moment you logged in.
just tell him to change that. or tell zombie or cj, if joey is busy maybe these 2 can talk with him.
if its needed to be proof the imposter-cd-key is yours he will let you know
if you should send it to him...

ps: in a loading-screen sometimes appears "world-stats-enabled" or something like that,thats wrong. (in server-info its also disabled) you cant see any of what you doing on mm-server in epic-stats. so in your case it has nothing to do with world-stats. its a "mm-server-only-thing"...

well... this will be the biggest problem, you need to wait too....(i hope not same time like we all now wait till default map finally changed to another map...)

Ok Joey will have to swap the cd keys. Or you can uninstall and reinstall ut using the same cd key. If you use the same cd key she'll have her stats.

Not sure when Joey will have time to do this, so I'll wait until you reply (don't want him to change the info and then have you guys use the old cd key on her comp) before I message him

i remember something like joey ordered admins to look out for multiple cd-keys ??!!?? if some admins didnt know THIS story do they bann or ask?
better use 2 different....

Well, due to the competitive play we do; we have to have two separate keys installed.

So Zombieslayer, here's the reply. She will have a different CD key 100%.

Thanks for quick replies. As soon as I get the word, I will send her GUID to whoever I am instructed.

Yes we look for identical cd keys. Then we ask them why 2 or more people have the same cd key. If the reason is valid we let it be. If the person didn't know someone else has the same cd key then we take action.

So Zombie, what's the final word on who I should forward the GUID to? You or one of the other admins?

Send it (and yours) along with the in game names via pm to me and I'll pass the info on to Joey.

It may take a couple of days to get done depending on how busy his demanding Uncle Sam is
