yeah...not gonna work (or fit, but i had a friend who put DDR2 ram in backwards...), but heres the newegg page for 771 boards with 2 PCI-E though your going to spend some money on 'em. you may be better off just buying a 775 mobo with a Q6600 for the price tags on these things
as for them all being server boards the 771 socket and chips where designed to allow for a dual CPU config, and only server chipsets support it

edit: ... two quad core 771's (running with a 1600 fsb of course) with SLI'ed 8800GTX's and 16GB ram (DDR3 at >2GHz as it becomes stable), and lets throw in a 5TB 15,000RPM RAID5 config ... almost as much as the family car, but hey party on! server IT guys get all the fun

That is the tough thing with building new machines also. Make sure that they are going to stick with that socket for awhile or move on in 3 months. Intel 775 is to be around I do believe alittle while and is a good choice. Future is still in 775 I do believe for maybe 2-3 years, maybe! Could change tomorrow
Later all!

to me, intel has always been the choice. my p4 has never had a problem and been a hell of a chip. when my new system arrives (tomorrow woot), it will be powered intel as well..
