Instagib Shield

I know most will disagree with me, but i think this was a bad call for PU's. Wands are a joke now, no one is hesitant to kill a wand, most are fighting to see who can kill it first, with almost no concern for being killed. Wands used to be THE MONSTER to watch out for, now they are a minor inconveniance. I have to worry more about the guy with a Laser Rifle or Tuurbo Laser than i do wands now. If anything I guess im saying they ought to be rarer atleast, or possibly make a class with he new patches that focuses on using adrenaline to create defensive PU's.

Yeah, if YOU'RE not going to use them I'll be HAPPY to take them off your hands!

Besides, you need 2 of them to have any realy effect anyhow.

Honestly, I'd almost rather use the Reflection PU than the Instagib PU because Turbolasers & Laser Rifles are MUCH more prevalent than Wands, and hence kill me a lot more often than wands do (*IF* I don't have the Reflection PUs on!)

Spoiled? HAH! I'm just happy at the fact that, with shields, I am FINALLY able to live through wave 20 (usually!)

I've noticed a resurgance of the Instagib shields lately. They used to be so rare and now I can find up to 6+ of them. Most what I do is just ignore them and grab two, though I would agree they should be toned down. Dealing with the panic of having a wand running around has lost its fun lately. Its kind of odd how in some moments this server sometimes gets too n00b-friendly with up to 4 or more MiniSSRs in the map all at once and crap which was toned down only recently.

I agree with Knave wands should strike fear like they used to maybe Joeyz can change insta drop rate.

as long i can medic weps and heal players, would be nice to see players acting like in DM, trying to camp at weaponspawn, tossing a nearly empty wep, collecting a new "loaded" wep and ammo... would be nice to see how long we can stay....if its still rpg, with enough resupply-abylity-level it should work till wave.....12?
