CRT or LCD?

Glad to see that CRT's are getting smaller But for that Price I will pay for the LCD. Even though I know it wont last as long as the CRT. I love when people have the big monitor and brag but their graphics card can't even play thing as big as the screen can go.

Actually, my 8800 GTX can go alot higher than my monitor........I'm currently maxed on a 22" wide-screen @ 1680 x 1050

I gave away two of my 21 inch sony trinitrons and got two acer 19 inch wide flat crap, boy do I regret giving them away. ](*,)

What were you thinking ?
Sony Trinitrons are probably the best crt out with excellently low response time and a super refresh rate.
I'll gladly stick with my huge and heavy 21 inch CRT over any POS LCD.

Well I did that when we bought a new house and my computer room ended to be smaler than one on old house. I thought I'll save some space and hoped diffrence wont be huge as is damnit.

I saw on X-Play on G4 tv, that they build a computer that could handle pretty well for under 4k. Might be worth looking at just to get upgrade parts to get through some of the new games.
