Offical "WTF" is up with the server thread

so umm....after finally entering a map(one i already had, the others couldnt even maintai na steady download) my ping is a steady...700, von isnt much better....didnt graba screen inside but this kinda shows my point

From running tracert and pinging a few different places it looks like an issue with the server farm, or the server itself.

I'm guessing that weather has downed a connection or two out of the server farm and we're sharing the bandwidth with a bunch of other sites that normally would have a different trunk out of the server farm.

I've brought this up with Joey via skype but haven't actually seen him on.

heh only way for me to get in is if maps are maps I already have stored, sadly thats not many so mostly only able to get in on out of the box maps that UT had when I installed it. Did get in and about 3 minutes before next map, which sadly I have to load.... heh look at the server moniter and just watch as another dark day in history happens, its like going on normal and then whoo huge drop in numbers.

i was soooo excited to find no one playing thought i would kick ass with very few people on the server only to find out it was unplayable bbbboooooo.... Seems to be fixed later

Heh server is back up and running well, seems like it got fixed in a few hours (I tried to get on at like 3 a.m and came back at 7 a.m, and it was fixed then.)

Yeah, 2 nights ago my ping was oddly going up for like 5 mins until it hit 900 or so, and it eventually went down but I didn't really know why. Everyone elses ping was fine, and I've never had that happen before with my connection, not a 900+ ping, maybe up to 150-200...
