Tele-fraggers.. = tele-fragged back

We had to do the to a player "Carlos_Fly" You should all know him by now... the one who doesn't know how to speak english and spams Zsounds constantly..

But i asked a few times to stop attempting to telefrag me. At first i thought he was trying to get passed me through the tunnel we were in, but nope.. he still chases me... He got me once, but thank god i had a ghost artifact.. So then.. I simply pushed him to a corner and used a team wall to keep him in a small area where he cant do that no more.. Yet he got out stole pu's i was giving to another player, and tried to tele-frag everyone in the tunnel at that time. So i got people to kick vote him, yet he get off game and comes back. So what i done is waited for him to go back to the tunnel and once i seen him attempt to telefrag someone i done it to him, not just once but quite a few times because he wouldn't stop. Then majority in that game realized what is going on at the time and all tried to kick him, but he continued to leave and come back. But we finally managed to get him kicked about wave 18-20..

So people that is reading this, this was a act of defending myself

.. in a way.. kill or be killed...

So ban me if you if you think that my actions were unjust, but i had to deal with the problem one way or another since there wasn't a admin present at the time.

Rag, I'm gonna say to you what I say to every single person that has an issue with another player on a server, and then comes to a forum to post their problem.....here it is........

EVIDENCE!!! Supply it!!, either in a demo recording, or a screenshot.

It is proof for the basis of a complaint. Even as an admin, I still take screenshots and do the occassional demo recording (for voice chat purposes only). If you think that taking the time to get either of these things is a hassle, just remember how much more of a hassle it is to deal with a player like that for numerous waves.

When you provide that evidence, the offender has absolutely no grounds to deny their behavior, especially when the proof says otherwise. Now, I can understand the frustration if a player is only F'ing with you..and no one else. People can be a bit stand off-ish about kicking someone unless they are being affected. So, sometimes there is the possibility that the player doesn't get kicked by enough votes. If ever that is the case, and you remotely think they will harass you again, then keep your screenshot/demorec key finger ready.

Then, at the end of the wave..or match..come straight here and send a PM to Paintball, ZombieSlayer or myself...and with evidence....it's easy to place a ban on someone. So, I don't know what or if Zombie or Paint will say something otherwise, but I personally don't ban/kick anyone just on the basis of someones word. Not that you're lying, but it makes everything much simpler all the way around...if an admin witnesses the act, or proof is provided.

So, that said...I will make sure to keep an eye on him :-k And if I see him TK'ing or telefragging anyone, he'll get one warning...cause I'm am so incredibly NOT a fan of TK'ing or telefragging!! [-( I dunno why...but it's one of my pet peeves!

Just a helpful tip now......when another player telefrags you, a message stating that fact appears in the game console, but not in game chat. So, even if you can't get a shot of the act itself, a shot of each telefrag console messages, and a shot of your chat asking him to stop would be enough proof for me!!

And sorry for the future stuff... i taught 2 people how to tele-frag cause they were victims also...

cool... so you want us all to sell our ghost/resurect-abilities? because with the "first" telefrag/teamkill you will see NOWHERE any message how you get killed or what or who you killed when you have res/ghost-ability...

or we need to kill us first with selfdamaging weapons so we resurect/ghost and then all we need to do is wait till he starts to do it again.... this way you will never get any proof things....

btw this is senseless cause "all" know what a special

######## has done many times to many players (tfraggin) without beeing judged...

Erm...It does appear in chat? Think you might have the death messages turned off there Anna d=)

im pretty sure she means that with ghost or rez, it doesnt generate a message for the first death, so they would have to be telefragged twice in one wave for text proof.

Yep we can only take action if we witness it ourselves or are provided with screen shots (that aren't older than a week, a week is more than enough time).

No, you shouldn't sell your resurrect or ghost. However, if you actually die due to someone telefragging you, that means they have attempted it twice in order to kill you. If they actually kill you more than once...it means they telefragged you numerous times....all the more reason to get any proof and send it to me...so I can bring down the "Anna Hammer! :stupid: " on their ass

And I honestly don't know who you're referring to as a player that does this to other players without being judged :-k If I catch them doing it, I'll judge them...it don't bother me to do judge someone for being a turd! :twisted: Because telefragging is nothing more than a form of harassment, which in general is against server rules!

The message may appear in chat...but I sure have never noticed it. I don't believe I have death messages option turned off...cause I see messages when other players are killed. Ah!! wait a second.....realization! #-o Yes, the message appears in the on screen chat. However, if you bring up the chat screen with all the games chat logged in it....that message will not be listed. You'll only be able to pull a message as proof from the console message.

I would advise you to not show people how to telefrag [-X ....cause all that does is generate more problems. If they've been playing on the server long enough...they'll know what telefrag means, because several of the monsters have to be telefragged. But, by you telling them, they will more than likely assume it's not such a big deal to do it to others.

Sometimes telefragging happens by accident.......like your standing on the persons' teleporter while they're teleporting (happened to me on the Golieth map up on the safe area.
