Okay, after re-reading your posts.....it's looking more like one of 3 things since your onboard video still works.......

1. You have an overheating issue with that card. High powered cards need a large case for good heat exchange. Mid-towers are NOT a good choice as most have poor cooling issues.

2. What size is your PSU? Good cards need at least 650w. Make sure it's a quality PSU like Antec, ThermalTake etc.

3. Your card is fried.....unless you can test it in another system to verify otherwise.

ok well I called PNY they are gonna exchange the card so either way I got a new 1 coming which is cool.

But... I went and got my old Ati Radeon Extasy card and plugged it in and the same thing No signal . I Read somewhere bout turning off your onboard in Bios. I have Phoenix Award Bios and I cant find anything in there that says onboard shutoff(or close to it)

I believe i dont know if its possible( prolly)
I think the pci Express slot has fried itself. Is it possible for jus that go and the rest of the comp to keep running?

I dont have any other problems everything else loads and runs jus not the pci ex slot

Usually, resetting the BIOS can be done a couple of ways.....

1. Go into the BIOS and click the DEFAULT button.

2. Pull the battery. Sometimes this must include placing the clip on a different set of pins...I'd go the the maker of your mobo website and check this out. (My EVGA mobo requires to do this) Every mobo is a lil different.

Now if your slot is bad....well, you gotta replace the whole mobo.

Well, your in another dilemma. The 939 socket mobos are not being sold any more. Your best bet is to is to find someone that has a working mobo ......or start considering a more updated system.

Chainz go here : http://www.pricewatch.com/motherboards/socket_939.htm

There are a few that you can filter through to your likings.
But if i were you i would go for the 2 pci-e slots just in case you run into a similar problem down the road.
Scroll down the list to the bottom and take a look at the...... Asus A8N32-SLI DELUXE..... Its a little pricey but if i had to chose i would chose that one over the others.
I have used many Asus boards before and Never had a problem what so ever.
At the current moment i am using an SK8V socket 940 and a K8V Deluxe 754 socket and have never had a problem with either of them.
As for the Aopen boards, try and stay away from those boards....a few years back i went through 3 or 4 brand new boards before i got one that actually worked .......and i finally bought the K8V Deluxe...... thats what i get for being a cheap f*** ...The AOPEN board was half the price.
As for your case , you will need a new case due to the fact that companies like Gateway , Dell ...etc make there own motherboards and they are quite a bit smaller than normal size boards, so when it comes to just swapping it out , I doubt you even have the holes for it.
Opps forgot about this site...
go here: http://www.motherboards.com/ and type in the search screen your socket and browse through them..... I would go through them but its 7:08AM and i gotta bolt out the house right now so when i get back this afternoon i will go through them and recommend one for you.
Good luck and happy hunting.

I would build a whole new system before paying that much for an old mobo. 939 is old tech. Go with a new AMD Phenom and a new mobo. Use what you can from your old system. And yes, get a new case......a large one at that so there's room for ventilation.
