It looks very promising...but then again its probably a little too early for something like this to come out.

After playing UT3 full multiple times on multiple ini configurations (graphics wise) I actually got it to play smoothly with glatnors invasion beta 20 BattleRPG (which thanks to Epics update 1.3 is INCOMPATIBLE now)with many custom maps,mutators,characters,and alot of other fun shit.But here's my 2 cents

It's kinda funny as I said before that you all bitch about UT3's movement and almost everything else being near identical or somewhat over the same settings as UT99.So I take it you all haven't played UT99 before?If not just get it You'll be swearing that UT200x doesn't have shit on UT99 in ANY category.

So pretty much what I'm saying is trying to compare UT3 to UT2004 is like comparing a car to a house.No matter which way you look at it your gonna look retarted to everyone else.

Hell I'll even go outta my way and say this.UT200X RUINED the franchise.Yet everybody including some or even more then half of the fourm users here,Bitch about the UI,Bitch about the fact that UT3's really more like UT99 and NOT ut2004,Know what?If all you guys are gonna do is bitch whine and moan about UT3's MINOR problems instead of either A)Looking for something you guys probably have heard of before called SOLUTIONS! or B)Ignoring what YOU think is wrong with the look or "feel" of the damn game and actually HAVE FUN.From what I see theres more minor problems on UT3 and it's engine then there are MAJOR problems.If i get banned for this well ok that's cool.

The game crashes alot,I know that you know what causes said crashes OPEN AL!Turn it off and your good to go and also on some soundcards you won't be able to tell the difference anyway.Sometimes it randomly crashes because of ATI drivers,that's ATI's fault for not fixing the dam problems in the first place NOT epic's fault for rushing the damn game.But that's all I found out so far.

oh and 1 more thing,if you want to continue bitching and complaining about UT3 well here's some advice.JOIN THE CLUB @ BEYONDUNREAL'S FOURMS THEY COULD USE MORE UT3 WHINERS!

I've had it for about a week and haven't had one crash (all eyecandy turned up) and that's with all the invasion mods (I have 2 on right now and the RPG mod) I'm having fun with it ........just looking now for some decent maps.

I'm currently getting around 65fps with my screen resolution @ 1680 x 1050.

I've played 99.

This is practically 99 with improved graphics and lil nidbits that was takin' from 2k4.

Put it this way. A majority of people, including the clan that I am currently in, pretty much say the same thing. THey will play UT3 once its playable.

i friggen love '99

my freshman year of high school some kid loaded it onto the schools servers and during homeroom we would sit there playing it

we would have like school wide competitions
