I just want to bring attention to this as I have seen a few people doing this rather a lot recently.

I'm not using names but I have recently seen a certain few players building sentinels then hiding behind boxes etc and idling there for the rest of the game, then idling through the next game and so on.

If I see anyone persistently doing this I will kick you out of the game as its a waste of bandwidth and player slots especially when the server is busy.

If you intend on leaving for any lengthy periods of time then either jump in to spectator mode or disconnect.

This does only apply to lengthy periods of time however as no one is going to kick you off for answering the door / phone, or being dragged into that unwanted and unpleasant conversation with your girlfriend / boyfriend or whatever as that's something we all have to do every now and then, I'm only bothered about the ones who build sentinels then go and hide while they watch television or whatever.

You know who you are and why you do it, so don't be tempted please.


The second issue I would like to bring attention to is abuse of the terrain glitch with the translocator.

The occasional building of a sentinel under a map is ok with me, (even I do it sometimes ;) ) but don't abuse it please.

By abusing it I mean hiding under the map throughout the entire game and shooting the monsters through the floor, I don't like this.

You will not be kicked off for doing it but don't be surprised if either 50 warlords come out of nowhere and make a P3Y-229 of you and your sentinels, or you and your guardian sentinels are all vaporised in a cataclysmic nuclear holocaust :twisted:

Don't say you weren't warned!

does joeyz approve of your bugging under the map warning? because well wait nm i dont shoot monsters from down there but i do play around once i get down there i/e jump around on that killbilly map and say "OMG A DOUGHNUT!!!" lol we can still do that right?

Yeah you can still have fun with it by all means, like I said even I do it somethimes.

I'm only bothered about people who intentionally glitch every available terrain map then stay down there throughout the entire game, as thats just lame.

I agree with u totally about idlers :!: :!:
It is a very big problem ,mostly due to people just mooching the 500 points .
There has been numerous times that i could not join and there were a few idlers on board.
Imho, idlers should be warned once , then if they do it again ban them for a day or two and if they do it again ban them for a week .
It will teach them not to mooch anymore points, or to idle again. :mrgreen:

:idea:I have a suggestion, how about idlers get put into spectator mode when they have been idling for 10 minutes, so they wont bother other players? :?:

...dude thats not even possible... besides... only 2 spectators are allowed and ANYWAYS if you idle as a spectator you get kicked for idling :/
