Yeah, it was quite the blast!

If we get enough people maybe I will see if my PC can handle running the server and the client at the same time...

Ive had this installed for a while now, tho yesterday was my first chance to try it....wow, i like it almost (but not quite as much) as carball. This would be a blast with a bunch of people playing(all i ever saw was 2v2. I heard that it was on joeyz server for all of like a day and had to come back off....would be awsome if it could find its way back(to the great dismay of the carball naysayers, another game mode that inst invasion  ))

no no no.. that would be unnecessary, and quite unfair to you. we'll find a better option.

I really don't know for sure - I would assume whatever is the most recent version from www.deathball.net

We REALLY need to get some more people to come play this, if only for a map or two. It's kind of like a mad amalgamation of Bombing Run, Carball, and DeathMatch.

BTW - once you install, you MUST run the game from the "Play Deathball" batch file in the \UT2004\deathball directory. It doesn't work if you try to activate the game from within UT.

One other thing - the server we play on most, which seems to be the most reliable, is THC65. Their website is www.thc65.com - but it's in German. HOWEVER if you Google THC65 it will be the first link, then Google can translate it for you - which I think is AWESOME! I have never seen a website translator work that well!

JOEYZ! Think you can spare an hour (or maybe even less) to come play some Deathball tonight? I think it would be a nice change of pace for you, and a nice little break from your constant codepounding. I for one know that if you pound code too long your arse gets numb and your eyes go all fuzzy-like...
