so this is gonna be crap now!
this should be my hello-here-i-am/wellcome-message but im not in da mood for happy wellcomes, im fckn pissed about that "WEBADMIN" who fear telling his real-name and who hides behind that "WEBADMIN"

i know the first who brought up that "ping check is in progress" and make some players include me a bit nervous with taht message, was sickpuppy, but he answers alllways.

IS THAT WHY YOU START TO TRIGGERHAPPY KICK PLAYERS WITH OVER 200 PING NOW, "WEBADMIN",
INSTEAD OF TRIGGERHAPPY BANNING THEM?

or were you still pissed cause the server was full and you couldnt play?

thanx for kickin me in wave 19, yes there was some freezes (some called it like allways: "lag") but the rest was fine and noone moaned.

btw, did you kick mrsd with her ping 204 too in wave 20?? didnt see it i was removed again!

but what i see was mrsd was not in next map but axe was now there.

so i only can guess he was it.
if, then it looks like he didnt want to learn like many others who allways think its only highpingers fault...
its not enough to tell it those 20 peeps who read the forum or are constantly here, it should be told them who PLAY too, and it looks like there are more playin than reading some forumnews

theres a post from joey about witch-hunting highpingers, whoever this "WEBADMIN" was today, didnt read that.

first of all, calm down. Instead of posting this, you could have just as easily emailed joey to explain your situation. :D

She's assuming its axe but right now we don't know who was webadmin. I can't judge the situation from both sides if I only know one side so my opinion on that one side...

Admins are supposed to ask for a location first, then take the appropriate action... Anyone in the states pinging above 200 will be banned, others would be exempted.

she has a right to be upset if i got kicked wave 19 id be pretty damn pissed

yeah. kicking in wave 19 and 20..that would sting a lot. if anyone has noticed, the last 3 waves, when all those monsters are out, everyone's ping doubles or more since so many updates of monsters and other players needs to be sent to everyone for processing.

i have noticed that MrsD usually has a ping from 180-200 almost always. i don't know why this is so or where she is from, but she is a regular and i am not so sure she should be kicked so blatantly since she is one who is highly supportive withou giving things out and helping selflessly.

anyways, i agree, ask people their locations first before giving the boot -,,-

I hear ya on the ping thing, I know most of you think it causes lag. Also I know that my ping sits around 100-120 during normal operation. But today my ping ranged anywhere from 150-400. I wasn't kicked or banned, and neither was anyone else for that matter (note that everyone had a ping higher than normal). My only question is this: Why is high ping ok sometimes, and not others? I don't want to be kicked, don't get me wrong. But why do pings jump unexplainably for no reason sometimes? I know my pc, software, and connection. I can't speak for anyone else, but I know that nothing on my computer changes to cause my ping to skyrocket. Anyone got an explanation, I would appreciate it, as I would like to stay unbanned this time.

The only time thats allowed is cause we already going through that high latency process so some of us dont get kicked (tho my ping rarely rises even in this situation oddly..)

i do believe that a word used in a clarification of the ping kicking standard was 'suspicious'.. how is it suspicious to hav a 200 ping on wave 19?

"WEBADMIN: I know its so they can log in but remotly. But lately it means SCAREDADMIN. If your going to ban someone them know in the BIG WHITE FREAKIN CAPS is all I'm asking. Joey gave you some power and you are trying to do your job but for the love of god. Don't type little 5-7 script writing on waves 18-20. I barely look because I'm to busy trying to live and so are others. But you do no service to Joey when you kick people without trying to figure SH!T out because you only piss players off. They Joey has to get involved and waste him time. I'm not saying not to listen to Joey. I have said it before use the CAPS ability your given. The person doing the kicking is the same person on the webadmin. Beacause they type in CAPS one time "PING CHECK IN PROGRESS" then get out of caps. TELL Someone to read the chat log if you are looking at their ping. Say M3rc read the log, Or Ortega read the log. Use your abilities right and dont abuse it.
