You guys dont use the arrows? Well I guess you get used to a certain style, I've been using this for years:
Arrows for moving, mouse for looking/shooting/ mousewheel: switching weps
ctrl: jump
shift: crouch
Numpad: 1-mini 2-flak 3-rl 4-assaultrifle 5-sniper 6-link 7-bio 8-shock 9-trans 0-superweps /: shieldgun
/ and b: toss pups
v: toss gun
\ and u: use pups
[ and ] cycle pups
delete: cbquickflip
T: chat
E:voicemenu
X:vote
R:teamchat
The letter keys I mostly use for binds such as showing what pups I have on my gun, or teamgame related binds.. I used to always bind the : " < > L P etc keys around there to voice commands but I dont use them much anymore. I like this setting because the must important keys are in one area, and the movement keys are separated from the rest, but I'm sure everyone has their own thing :D

I was just wondering paint, Do you have a special gaming mouse with more than the basic buttons, cause I'd think it would be hard to use the middle mouse (normally the 3rd mouse button) to jump while having to deal with accidentally moving the wheel and changing weapons.I used to have one that had 5 total buttons (two more on the side) that was pretty sweet, but now I'm just using a 3 button laser.

ok this seems random but it actually makes sense
Primary Fire = Left mouse
Alt Fire = Middle Mouse
Forward = Right mouse
Back = V
Crouch = C
Strafe Left = A
Strafe Right = S
Translocator = D
Jump = F
Microphone = Ctrl
Map Voting = Alt
Unload Weapon = Delete
Use Item = Shift
Toss Item = Backspace
Toss Weapon = \
Aiming and movement is controlled mostly via mouse, as well as weapon selection w/ mouse wheel (im starting to lean more towards 1234567890 for that though) and left hand is right at home on ASDF w/ v being backwards and C being crouch, T talk, etc

mine is as follows:
primary fire = left mouse
alt fire = scroll bar button press or g
forward = right mouse
back = a or m (carball)
crouch = s
strafe left = d
strafe right = f
trans = q
jump = space bar
unload weapon = r
scroll through weapons = scroll button on mouse
scroll through items = w and e
use item = t
toss item = v
toss weapon = \
turn left (carball) = ,
turn right (carball) = .
carball quickflip = n
so basically then, the way i move my mouse changes how i look around and position my weapon reticule (little bright pink dot for all weapons) on enemies, turn and the like, logically. this is basically how i have always set up my controls for fps gaming :}
